IS TOFU A GOOD SOURCE OF CALCIUM?

Many kinds of tofu are excellent sources of  calcium,but not all. If tofu is processed with calcium sulfate-as most are- it will have about 260 mg of calcium per cup. This calcium is absorbed by the body as the calcium in milk. But tofu processed with NIGIRI  has little calcium.

AVOCADOS LUSH AND BUTTERY

Lots of people know Avocado as Guacamole, but did you know that lush and buttery tasting food can help with lowering cholesterol?  Now, Avocados are high in fats but it's the good fats. Even good fats are highly caloric so moderation is the key. Some people ask "how do you know when a Avocado is ripe. One way is to look at the skin when you first purchase it, is it green or black. Green means that it's not ripe, and green going to black is ripe. Another way is when the skin darkens press the skin,if the flesh yields the avocado is ready to eat. Let me know what you think.
